ASTM A250 alloy steel pipes include minimum wall thickness electric resistance welded carbon-molybdenum and chrome-molybdenum alloy steels, boiler tubes and superheater tubes.
ASTM A250 alloy round tubes cover multiple grades, such as T1, T1a, T1b, T2, T11, T12 and T22, etc. The size and thickness of the steel pipes are wide, and the outer diameter is usually from 1/2 to 5 inches (12.7 to 127 mm), and the minimum wall thickness is 0.035 to 0.320 inches (0.9 to 8.1 mm), which can also be provided according to the actual requirements of customers.
ASTM A250 alloy boiler tubes usually need to be heat treated to improve their structure and properties. Common heat treatment methods include normalizing, quenching and tempering.
